Uses
Leaf: Bitter and astringent in taste with cooling properties, promotes urina-tion and cures gonorrhea. If the liquid obtained from squeezing the leaves is taken with milk and sugar, it will cure pain in passing urine and gonorrhea. Eating a salad made from the boiled leaves with dried prawns will cure many gas problems such as flatulence and shooting pains, as well as fevers, diabetes, and gonorrhea. Taking the powder made from the leaves will cure gas problems, illnesses due to heat, and pain in passing urine. Consuming a clear soup with the leaves added can cure passing mucus with the stool, dysentery, illnesses caused by gas, indigestion and degeneration of bile, and will also give strength.
